An optional spring break (March 12-17) site visit / service trip for students participating in the Spring 2007 course is hoped for! Interested students will orgnanize and manage the trip as a group. Possible destinations could include the Northern Cheyenne Nation in Montana, the Wind River Reservation in Wyoming, the Navajo Nation in Arizona, the Tigua Tribe in Texas, and/or the Pointe-au-Chien Indian Tribe in Louisiana. Potentially, the trip will be conducted as an Alternative Spring Break offering at UT. Regardless, the trip will comply with UT travel policies and any applicable human subjects research guidelines for course-based experiential learning. |
